We are seeking a hands-on IT Engineer to support our IT department, covering company’s infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, software development and AI adoption and digitalisation.
Responsibilities;
- Managing the company's entire information technology (IT) infrastructure, systems - implementing and maintaining hardware and software and operations a company's technology infrastructure and to ensures that all systems and processes run smoothly
- The primary role is to ensure that the company's technology is secure, efficient, reliable, and aligned with its overall business objectives.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure reliable business operations.
- Support business applications, email, user access, file services and corporate IT systems.
- Plan and implement hardware, software, network and infrastructure upgrades.
- Manage preventive maintenance, backup, recovery and business continuity.
- Strengthen cybersecurity through monitoring, access control, patching, firewall management and incident response.
- Lead the design, development and implementation of an in-house SIEM solution for centralized logging, security monitoring and alerting.
- Maintain IT assets, licences, documentation and equipment lifecycle records.
- Engage project teams, business stakeholders, and vendors across different trade, to provide technical recommendations, communicate risks and improvement opportunities, and contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, security, compliance, and audit activities if necessary.
- Interested and staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, experimenting with new tools and methodologies, and contributing to the innovation of AI solutions to the organisation
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience, with the technical depth to independently troubleshoot complex enterprise infrastructure issues.
- Relevant certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications would be advantageous.
- Strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and Intune.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions, together with a strong understanding of infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery.
- Good knowledge across infrastructure architecture, systems design, security, monitoring, patching, vulnerability management, and root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic teamwork’s environment.
- Keen interest in using AI scripting and automation to streamline operations and automate repetitive tasks.
