Rotating Equipment Specialist

Responsibilities:

Receives jobs, work instructions, drawings, and specifications as required from supervisor and performs work.

Uses the right tools and equipment for the job and operates heavy-duty specialized tools taken from the central tool room.

Operates basic machine tools such as grinder, power saw, drill press, threading machine, etc.

Performs all installation and maintenance work as per SATORP procedures and guidelines.

Carries out necessary testing (hydro, pneumatic, etc.).

Receives necessary work permits before starting work.

Maintains strict compliance with SATORP safety standards.

Performs good housekeeping during and after completion of jobs.

Achieves completion of jobs to quality and schedule according to company standards and requirements.

Qualifications:

Diploma in engineering

Bachelor degree in engineering

Minimum 12 years’ experience in oil & gas maintenance – diploma.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil & gas maintenance – degree.

Expert in rotating equipment.

Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.

Proven leadership skills with large organizations.

Strategic thinking, open to new ideas.

An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment.
