Floor Tiler

Key Responsibilities Prepare floor and wall surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, levelling and measuring.

Measure, mark and cut ceramic, porcelain and other types of tiles according to project specifications.

Mix and apply cement, mortar, tile adhesive and grout as required.

Install and align floor and wall tiles according to drawings, measurements and layout requirements.

Carry out grouting, sealing and finishing works.

Inspect completed tiling works to ensure proper alignment, levelness and finishing quality.

Repair or replace damaged tiles and rectify tiling defects when necessary.

Handle tiling tools, equipment and materials safely.

Maintain a clean and organised worksite.

Comply with workplace safety requirements and follow instructions from the site supervisor.

Job Requirements Relevant experience in floor and wall tiling works is preferred.

Knowledge of tile installation techniques, surface preparation and grouting.

Ability to measure, cut and lay tiles accurately.

Able to use tiling tools and equipment safely.

Physically fit and able to perform manual work, including lifting and handling construction materials.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsible, hardworking and attentive to workmanship and safety.

Willing to work at different project sites as required.
