Public Relation Officer - PRO

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relation Officer (PRO) to join our high-speed rail construction project team in Abu Dhabi. The PRO will be the key liaison between the project and governmental authorities, ensuring all regulatory compliances and permits are efficiently managed to support smooth project progress.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact with government departments and agencies.
• Coordinate and process government-related documentation, including permits, licenses, and approvals needed for the project.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and procedures relevant to construction activities.
• Monitor the expiry and renewals of licenses and permits to avoid any project delays.
• Facilitate smooth communication and relationship-building between the company and governmental bodies.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to management on government relations activities and status of approvals.
• Assist in handling any government inspections or audits related to the project.
• Support the project team with updates on regulatory changes or policy developments impacting construction operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-6 years of proven experience as a Public Relation Officer or Government Relations Officer in large scale construction or infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong knowledge of UAE governmental regulations, especially in Abu Dhabi.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with government officials and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English is highly desirable.
• Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver with a professional demeanor and integrity.
