Accountabilities: The Product Associate, Operations & Testing will oversee operational governance, testing activities, and implementation processes for payment network releases, pricing updates, and production changes. This role ensures that changes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives, compliance standards, and operational risk requirements.

Coordinate release planning activities across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and external processing partners.

Develop and maintain testing schedules, deployment plans, and production readiness reviews.

Support implementation of network functionality updates, compliance changes, fee modifications, and operating rule updates.

Review vendor release documentation and confirm implementation requirements are addressed.

Track project dependencies, risks, deliverables, and issue resolution through deployment completion.

Govern testing and validation processes for pricing changes, interchange updates, assessments, network fees, and processor fee changes.

Develop testing strategies across merchant applications, billing systems, and operational workflows.

Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and production validation activities.

Investigate pricing discrepancies and support resolution before production deployment.

Partner with Product and Pricing teams to ensure updates align with approved requirements.

Maintain governance frameworks supporting production change management and operational controls.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, PCI standards, and payment network mandates.

Maintain audit-ready documentation including approvals, testing evidence, and implementation records.

Support audits, risk assessments, regulatory reviews, and control testing activities.

Lead production readiness reviews for high-impact changes and establish deployment, rollback, and contingency procedures.

Develop operational reporting and metrics related to release quality, testing effectiveness, defects, and compliance.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings experience in payments, merchant services, banking operations, or technology-driven production environments. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, project coordination skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver accurate and compliant operational outcomes.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Finance, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in merchant acquiring, merchant services, payments, banking operations, production support, release management, or operational risk.

Experience coordinating testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.

Knowledge of payment card network rules and releases, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express.

Understanding of merchant pricing models, interchange, assessments, and payment processing workflows.

Familiarity with change management methodologies and operational risk controls.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent project management and stakeholder communication abilities.

Experience working with payment processors such as Fiserv, FIS, Global Payments, Elavon, TSYS, or Worldpay is preferred.

Experience supporting audits, risk reviews, and control testing is preferred.

Knowledge of PCI DSS requirements and card network operating regulations is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a complex environment.

Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight travel when required.
