Accountabilities: Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a healthcare claims processing platform, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical capabilities.

Translate complex claims operations, adjudication rules, pricing logic, EDI transaction standards, and payment workflows into clear business requirements, user stories, and actionable product specifications.

Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, facilitating communication throughout product design, development, testing, and release.

Manage and prioritize the product backlog by balancing business value, regulatory requirements, technical dependencies, and delivery timelines.

Lead product discovery activities to identify operational pain points, business opportunities, and process improvements while mitigating project risks.

Define acceptance criteria, participate in user acceptance testing, and ensure delivered functionality meets business objectives and compliance requirements.

Partner with cross-functional teams including Claims Operations, EDI, Network, Compliance, Legal, Analytics, and external vendors to deliver successful product releases.

Monitor platform performance, analyze product metrics, gather user feedback, and drive continuous improvements through iterative product enhancements.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience with ownership of product strategy, roadmap development, and successful product delivery.

Professional experience within US healthcare, health insurance, employee benefits, or claims operations, with a solid understanding of claims lifecycle, adjudication, and payment processes.

Proven ability to create detailed business requirements, user stories, and functional documentation while effectively bridging business and technical teams.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with experience translating complex operational processes into scalable product solutions.

Experience managing Agile product backlogs, defining priorities, and communicating trade-offs with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and business functions.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities and ambiguity.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Experience with claims adjudication platforms, pricing engines, EDI transaction standards (837, 835, 834, 277), CARC/RARC codes, UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim forms, self-funded health plans, TPAs, or value-based care organizations is highly desirable.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, healthcare clearinghouses, payer portals, or claims vendors is an advantage.

Ability to support US business hours with flexibility for occasional collaboration outside standard working hours when required.
