Accountabilities: Lead, mentor, and support a team of data engineers, fostering technical excellence and ensuring successful project delivery.

Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services.

Build and maintain cloud-based data lakes and data warehouses with BigQuery to support analytics and reporting needs.

Develop both batch and real-time data processing solutions using modern cloud-native technologies.

Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.

Conduct code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and maintain high standards for code quality and performance.

Support CI/CD implementation, DevOps initiatives, and infrastructure automation practices.

Contribute to technical planning, solution architecture, project estimation, and risk management activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.

7–8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or large-scale software development.

Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Cloud Storage (GCS), Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.

Solid SQL skills and extensive experience designing and optimizing data warehouses and data models.

Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, and cloud-native data processing solutions.

Familiarity with Looker or similar BI and reporting tools.

Working knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and DevOps best practices.

Proven ability to lead technical teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and manage project timelines and technical risks.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
