Revenue Officer

About This Role Tempkers Limited is seeking a results-driven Revenue Officer to support revenue collection, monitoring, verification, reconciliation, compliance, and customer engagement across assigned areas of Abuja. The role is primarily field-based. Key Responsibilities

Conduct revenue collection, monitoring, verification, and compliance activities Visit assigned locations to monitor revenue-generating activities Engage customers, businesses, taxpayers, and relevant stakeholders Verify payment records, receipts, and supporting documents Reconcile collections and identify discrepancies Identify and report revenue leakages, irregularities, and underpayments Maintain accurate records of collections, transactions, and field activities Prepare daily, weekly, and other required reports Monitor assigned revenue accounts and follow up on outstanding obligations Escalate disputes, irregularities, and compliance concerns Support initiatives aimed at improving revenue collection and reducing leakages Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations

Requirements

HND or BSc in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field Hands-on field experience in revenue collection, field operations, customer engagement, sales, compliance, inspection, financial services, or related areas Good knowledge of Abuja and ability to navigate major districts and communities Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of revenue collection, financial transactions, accounting, or compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong communication, reporting, and record-keeping skills High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism Willingness to work extensively in the field and travel across Abuja Ability to work independently and under pressure Ability to work flexible hours when required
