Senior Counsel - Law Firm

Riyadh or Jeddah

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsel to join our prestigious law firm in Riyadh or Jeddah. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice, support complex transactions, and contribute to the firm's growth through exceptional legal knowledge and client management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the firm's and clients' interests.
• Manage complex legal transactions and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Research and analyze relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents to offer informed counsel.
• Support business development initiatives by identifying legal risks and opportunities.
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and support staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations applicable to the firm's operations and clients.
• Represent the firm in legal proceedings and negotiations as required.
• Law degree from a recognized university and admission to the Saudi Bar or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10+ years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.
• Strong expertise in Saudi Arabian corporate law, commercial law, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and client service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
• Willingness to be based in Riyadh or Jeddah and travel as needed.
