KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment schedules, and financial reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and company budgets.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Support payroll preparation and statutory deductions.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Work closely with management, procurement, sales, and other departments on financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax and statutory requirements.
- Identify financial discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective action.
- Support internal and external audits when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field .
- CPA qualification or progress toward CPA is an added advantage.
- At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of Kenyan tax and statutory requirements .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the solar, power, engineering, construction, or technical industry will be an added advantage.
