SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDER

Study and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements and welding procedures. Clean, grind, and prepare metal surfaces to be joined, ensuring they are free of impurities like grease or moisture. Select and set up the appropriate welding equipment, such as MIG or TIG welders, and secure components using jigs and clamps. Inspect completed welds for flaws or defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and project specifications. Operate and maintain welding machinery, power saws, grinders, and other hand tools used in the process.

Qualifications/Requirements: At least High School graduate with TESDA Certificate or NCII in Welding Male Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick welding, etc.), metal fabrication, and the use of specialized welding equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Skill in using hand and power tools, including grinders and cutting equipment Willing to be trained
