The Pricing Analyst is a commercially focused role, working with carriers, service contracts, rate requests and tenders. This employee assists in driving new business to JAS by negotiating pricing with carriers, managing price quotes to customers and performing cost analysis.

*Job Description*

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*

• Handle daily pricing activity.
• Provide comprehensive analysis of KPIs (yield results) and trends to increase profitability.
• Work with multiple departments to improve efficiency of processes.
• Analyze and process RFP's to produce desired goals
• Identify and address unprofitable accounts.
• Participate in on-site carrier meetings, as requested.
• Assist in the packaging and communications of procurement strategy to branches, commercial organizations and our customers.
• Ensure timely response to all inquiries.
• Perform other position related duties as specified by management.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies.

*SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: *

• · The incumbent will not directly and/or indirectly supervise employees.

*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:*

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office ? Word, Excel, Power Point required
• Five plus years? experience forwarder or shipping industry in operations / procurement
• Additional languages an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $57,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
