Position Overview
We are seeking a content editor to manage updates to our website and review materials intended for publication across our digital platforms.
The successful applicant will work with our team to ensure that information shared with the public is accurate, properly written, up to date, and consistent with the organization's communication standards.
Key Responsibilities
Edit, update, and maintain content on the Interns Hub website.
Review and proofread social media posts, captions, articles, announcements, and other publications before they are released.
Check all written materials for grammatical errors, accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Work with the design and communications teams to review flyers, promotional materials, and campaign content.
Prepare and revise website articles, programme updates, and official announcements.
Ensure that information published across our platforms is current and properly presented.
Coordinate with programme leads to obtain and verify information before publication.
Identify and correct errors or outdated information on the website and other digital platforms.
Requirements
Excellent written English, with strong proofreading and editing skills.
Previous experience in content editing, communications, copywriting, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of website content management systems.
Good understanding of social media content and publication standards.
Ability to review written materials critically and make appropriate corrections.
Good organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work with different teams and manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Experience with WordPress or other content management systems will be an added advantage.
