The role

As Vice Principal, you will work closely with the Principal to lead school-wide improvement, uphold our high academic and pastoral standards, and champion a culture where every student is supported to reach their full potential. You will play a pivotal role in curriculum leadership, staff development, and the day-to-day operational excellence of the school.

What we're looking for

Qualifications

Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership or a Postgraduate Diploma / Bachelor's Degree supported by a recognised CPD qualification in educational or organisational leadership (e.g. NPQSL or equivalent)

Experience

Minimum 6 years of teaching experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role

Proven expertise in the English National Curriculum, IGCSEs, and A Levels

UAE or international school experience is a distinct advantage

Genuinely student-centred, placing learners and learning at the heart of every decision

Achievement-driven, with a proven track record of raising standards and improving student outcomes

A role model who demonstrates high expectations in teaching, learning, and professional conduct

A collaborative and visible leader who inspires, motivates, and develops both staff and students

Excellent English communication skills (bilingual candidates are preferred)

Strong knowledge of ADEK regulations, policies, and compliance requirements

Experienced in data analysis, using evidence to inform decision-making and drive school improvement

Excellent problem-solving and strategic planning skills, with the ability to lead change effectively
