- Oversee and supervise daily construction site activities and ensure work is carried out according to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, workers, suppliers and site activities.
- Ensure construction works are completed according to the project schedule and quality standards.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and site resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
- Prepare daily site reports, progress updates and relevant project documentation.
- Monitor work progress and report delays, defects or site issues to the Project Manager.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and a safe working environment at the construction site.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant parties when required.
- Assist in managing project costs, materials and variation works where necessary.
