CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT
Handle customer inquiries regarding import and export shipments. Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, airlines, truckers, and customs authorities. Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to customers. Prepare, review, and process shipping and customs clearance documents. Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures. Coordinate with the Brokerage Team regarding customs clearance requirements. Resolve shipment issues, delays, and customer concerns promptly. Maintain accurate records of shipment transactions and customer communications. Assist in billing, invoicing, and collection-related concerns when necessary. Generate reports and provide shipment status updates to management.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. At least 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, import/export operations, or customer service. Knowledge in import and export documentation and customs clearance processes in an advantage. Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure. Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage shipment timelines effectively. Can start ASAP
