Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, develop HSE policies, and implement safety procedures to minimize risks and improve workplace safety.

The HSE Specialist ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations by developing and implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities included: preparing safety reports, managing audits, conducting safety training, investigating incidents, and ensuring the availability of safety equipment.

The role also involves collaborating with other departments to enhance safety and environmental practices.

Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification.

HSE certifications/training.

3-5 years of experience in HSE, preferably in an industrial environment.

NEBOSH certificate holder is mandatory.

Good knowledge of risk assessment, emergency procedures, and fire safety.

Good communication in English language and power point reporting skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Expertise in developing HSE policies and conducting risk assessments.

Reporting and assisting the GA Manager on health, safety, environment, and industrial documentation in line with HSEI policies and objectives.

Ensuring site compliance with Health & Safety and Environment rules, procedures, and action plans.

Improving training materials, development processes, and self-assessments to enhance work quality.

Preparing monthly reports and materials for meetings and presentations
