Position Overview

 The successful candidates will be responsible for feeding birds, maintaining clean poultry houses, monitoring bird welfare, supporting

vaccination and biosecurity programs, and ensuring high standards of animal care and farm

hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

 Feed poultry according to schedules.

 Provide clean drinking water.

 Clean poultry houses and equipment.

 Collect and dispose of poultry waste.

 Monitor bird health and report abnormalities.

 Support vaccination and medication programs.

 Maintain farm cleanliness and hygiene.

 Observe biosecurity procedures at all times.

 Assist in receiving and transferring birds.

 Monitor feed and water consumption.

 Record daily farm activities.

 Handle birds humanely during operations.

 Report equipment faults promptly.

 Support inventory of farm supplies.

 Assist during farm maintenance activities.

 Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

 KCSE Certificate Minimum.  Certificate Agriculture Advantage.

 Poultry Farm Experience Preferred.

 Animal Handling Skills.

 Basic Record Keeping.

 Good Physical Fitness.

 Teamwork Skills.

 Communication Skills.

 High Integrity.
