HomelyCare is a local home-support services company committed to helping individuals and families live happier, safer and more comfortable lives. Our services include residential cleaning, elderly companionship and caregiver support and other home-support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly companionship and conversation to seniors.
- Accompany seniors for walks, activities, appointments and outings.
- Assist with grocery shopping and simple errands.
- Encourage seniors to remain socially active, engaged and independent.
- Provide general non-medical support at home.
- Observe the senior's general wellbeing and report any concerns appropriately.
- Maintain a safe, respectful and caring environment.
- Follow HomelyCare's service guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.
- Patient, caring, responsible and comfortable working with seniors.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working with seniors is an advantage.
Requirements
- First Aid and CPR certification is highly preferred.
- Passionate about supporting and contributing to the well-being of seniors.
- Due to client needs, the ability to communicate in local Singapore dialects (e.g. Hokkien, Teochew or Cantonese) is preferred to facilitate comfortable and effective communication with seniors.
