Chief Officer is responsible to the Master for the administration and supervision of the Deck Department. He is responsible for the loading and discharging of the cargo, including the discipline of the crew under his department and the overall maintenance of the vessel.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of Marine Transportation Course or Associate in Marine Transportation • Must be duly licensed by MARINA in compliance with MC-2020-03 (Chief Mate or OIC-NW).

Remarks: Position needed for domestic tanker, barge and bunkering vessels.
