Science is taught at all key stages: Years 7 to 9 follow a course based on the Science National Curriculum using materials adapted for each student. All three science subjects are offered at A Level, again following the AQA specification.

The science department had great success this year at both GCSE and A level and in Chemistry specifically, 50% of all grades were A*/A and 100% A*-C at A level. At GCSE, 42% of grades awarded were 9/8 and 67% awarded were 9-7 with a 100% pass rate. All science lessons are taught in purpose-built laboratories in a suite of 8 labs supported by three preparation rooms and two full-time Science Technicians.

We offer a variety of trips throughout the year, including studying the motion and forces of rollercoasters, learning how animals interact in a natural habitat, and visiting the sustainable communities of Dubai.
