Junior Data Analyst (Contract role)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Temporary APAC A&O Team member to support air and ocean freight procurement activities across the region.

The role will focus on RFQ data validation, routing checks, rate compilation, and routing guide preparation . This is a good opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets, and interested in learning more about freight procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify transit times and routing information for air and ocean freight RFQs.
• Support strategic account preparation and carrier solution validation.
• Map awarded lane volumes against actual performance.
• Compile and maintain awarded selling rates.
• Prepare routing guides for awarded lanes.
• Review and validate large volumes of air and ocean freight routing data.
• Support the team in meeting multiple RFQ deadlines.
• Assist with other freight procurement and data-related activities as required.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with large datasets.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel , including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP .
• Comfortable handling large volumes of routing and freight data.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable working under tight timelines.
• Meticulous, organised, and process-driven.
• Willing to learn and understand air and ocean freight procurement processes.
• Comfortable handling repetitive but important data validation tasks.
• Air or ocean freight/shipping knowledge is an advantage.
