We are currently seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to vehicle body repairs, panel beating and restoration work.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out panel beating, bodywork repairs and restoration of damaged vehicle panels with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform minor and major body repairs, including reshaping, welding and surface preparation to restore structural integrity and appearance.
- Prepare and clean vehicle surfaces prior to repair or refinishing.
- Assess damage, plan repair methods and ensure accurate panel alignment and fit.
- Operate panel-beating tools, welding equipment and related machinery safely and effectively.
- Ensure that all work meets the company’s quality, safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment and materials in clean working order.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Panel Beater, Body Repair Technician or equivalent role.
- Experience with vehicle body repairs, panel fabrication or smart repair techniques preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive body systems, welding, surface preparation and repair techniques.
- Good eye for detail, panel alignment and finish quality.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small, high-performing team.
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety and customer satisfaction.
- Must be available to work on-site for 39 hours per week.
