Job description

We are looking for a software developer to support the development, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of internal information systems. The role will work closely with business users and IT stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient applications aligned with organizational requirements.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on software development experience, a good understanding of APIs and system integration, database knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and support applications through development, testing, UAT, and deployment.

Requirements

Key responsibilities

Develop, test, maintain, and enhance internal applications and information systems.

Analyze requirements and work closely with business users to understand application and system needs.

Implement system enhancements, fixes, and continuous improvements.

Participate in system integration activities, including APIs and SAP interfaces.

Support integration between internal applications, enterprise systems, and external interfaces.

Assist with database design, development, maintenance, and data-related activities.

Develop and maintain reliable, scalable, and maintainable application components.

Troubleshoot application and system issues and provide timely resolutions.

Support user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, deployment, and post-deployment activities.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system documentation, and user guides.

Follow established software development standards, coding practices, security policies, and IT governance requirements.

Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders throughout the application development lifecycle.

Contribute to reporting, system improvements, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure accurate system integrations and database updates.

Support application stability, availability, and performance of assigned systems.

Required technical skills

Software development

Minimum 2+ years of software development experience.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and programming fundamentals.

Hands-on experience with at least one programming language such as:

.NET / C#

Java

or a similar enterprise programming language.

Experience developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining business applications.

APIs & system integration

Basic to intermediate understanding of REST APIs and system integration concepts.

Experience working with APIs, integrations, interfaces, or web services.

Exposure to SAP interfaces / SAP integration is an advantage.

Ability to understand integration requirements and troubleshoot integration-related issues.

Database

Experience working with relational databases.

Knowledge of databases such as:

SQL Server

Oracle

or similar relational database technologies.

Understanding of SQL, database design, queries, data manipulation, and database maintenance.

Web technologies

Familiarity with web development technologies.

Understanding of frontend / backend application interaction and web-based information systems.

Version control & development tools

Hands-on knowledge of Git or other version control systems.

Familiarity with standard software development and deployment practices.

ERP / enterprise systems

Experience working in ERP environments is an advantage.

Exposure to SAP is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.

Certifications - advantage

Certifications in software development, cloud, databases, or relevant technologies will be an advantage, including:

Microsoft Certified Developer

Oracle certifications

AWS certifications

Other relevant software development or technology certifications

Candidates with exposure to any of the following will be preferred:
