We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and professional Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing insurance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone in Armenia who wants to gain experience working directly with a U.S.-based insurance agency , develop professional sales skills, and build long-term experience in the American commercial insurance market.
What You’ll Do
You will communicate with prospective and existing customers, assist with insurance quote opportunities, follow up with leads, gather information needed for insurance applications, explain available coverage options, and help turn prospective customers into agency clients.
You will also learn how a professional U.S. insurance agency handles customer service, sales, renewals, insurance applications, and account follow-ups.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who has strong English communication skills , is confident speaking with customers, is comfortable making and receiving phone calls, and has a motivated sales personality.
Previous insurance experience is helpful but not necessarily required for the right candidate. Training can be provided.
Compensation
Starting compensation: approximately ֏1,820 AMD per hour ($5 USD/hour).
While the starting base compensation is $5 USD per hour, our average agent earns approximately $1,500 USD per month (approximately ֏545,700 AMD) through base compensation and applicable sales commissions/incentives.
This is a sales position. Your earning potential depends on your performance, productivity, and sales results. Individual earnings are not guaranteed and may vary.

Sales & New Business Development
Generate and develop new commercial trucking insurance accounts.
Contact trucking companies and owner-operators by phone, email, and other approved marketing channels.
Follow up consistently with prospective clients and existing leads.
Identify upcoming insurance expiration and renewal dates.
Explain available insurance options and help clients understand their coverage needs.
Prepare and present insurance proposals.
Negotiate and overcome sales objections professionally.
Follow up aggressively but professionally on outstanding quotes.
Close new business and obtain required signatures, deposits, and binding documentation.
Maintain relationships with clients to generate renewals and referrals.
Meet individual and company sales goals.
Trucking Insurance Knowledge

Client Qualification & Information Gathering
Agents are responsible for obtaining accurate information necessary to market and quote an account, including:
DOT and MC numbers
Company ownership information
Years in business
Operating radius
Commodities hauled
Vehicle and equipment schedules
Driver lists
CDL information
Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs)
Loss runs
Current insurance information
Current premiums
Desired limits and deductibles
Gross annual revenue
Annual mileage
IFTA information when required
Safety information
Inspection and violation history
Accident and claim explanations
Prior carrier information
Agents must understand that providing accurate information to insurance carriers and underwriters is critical.
Fluent English is an absolute MUST. Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently and professionally.
Excellent verbal communication and telephone skills with the ability to confidently speak with U.S.-based trucking company owners and business professionals.
Strong sales, persuasion, negotiation, and closing abilities.
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound sales calls and following up consistently with prospects.
Ability to clearly explain insurance coverages, premiums, deductibles, down payments, and payment options.
Strong attention to detail when collecting driver, vehicle, DOT, loss history, and underwriting information.
Ability to communicate professionally through email and prepare clear written correspondence.
Basic computer skills, including email, web-based systems, document management, and data entry.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and accounts simultaneously.
Self-motivated, competitive, persistent, and results-driven personality.
Ability to work under pressure and meet established sales and production goals.
Professional attitude and strong customer-service skills.
Ability and willingness to quickly learn commercial trucking insurance terminology, underwriting requirements, and agency procedures.
Previous experience in insurance sales, trucking insurance, trucking, transportation, logistics, dispatching, freight, or B2B sales is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of the U.S. trucking and transportation industry is a major advantage.
Familiarity with DOT/MC numbers, FMCSA, commercial trucks, owner-operators, fleets, MVRs, loss runs, and trucking operations is a plus.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment.
