testing, adjusting and balancing (tab) technician for heating, ventilating and air conditioning (hvac)

*Job Summary*

We?re growing and with this growth we are looking to add a Journeyman HVAC Technician to our team.

*Duties*

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, and ventilation units
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings for system installation and repairs
• Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems or building infrastructure as needed
• Utilize welding skills for component fabrication or repair when necessary
• Repair and service boilers, appliances, and other mechanical systems integral to building operations
• Diagnose issues using mechanical knowledge and implement effective solutions promptly

*Experience*

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician or mechanic with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and maintenance procedures
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair
• Familiarity with reading schematics and technical diagrams related to HVAC and mechanical systems
• Construction experience is a plus for understanding building infrastructure integration
• Mechanical knowledge across various systems including schematics interpretation and troubleshooting techniques
• Previous experience working with boilers or similar large-scale heating systems is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities
