GEMS Royal Dubai School is a vibrant, premium British curriculum school, educating students from FS1 to Year 9, expanding to include Year 10 in September 2027, and annual growth to Year 13. Job purpose:

To be responsible for an EYFS or primary class, delivering high-quality teaching that inspires curiosity, builds confidence and leads to exceptional outcomes and progress for every student.

Skills description

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Demonstrate secure and up-to-date knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage or the National Curriculum for England within the Primary Phase

Plan and deliver consistently high-quality, innovative teaching and learning, while collaborating with colleagues and sharing effective practice

Use assessment information and student data effectively to personalise learning, address individual needs and maximise progress

Model a high-performance mindset through reflective practice, resilience and a consistently solution-focused approach within a culture of high expectations

Promote and safeguard the welfare, wellbeing, and personal and social development of every student

Build positive, professional relationships with students, colleagues and parents through clear communication and excellent interpersonal skills

Share our ambition to contribute to a world-class school and embrace opportunities for professional growth and career development

Contribute actively to the culture and life of GEMS Royal Dubai School, including its extracurricular programme and community events

Take ownership of continuous professional learning and apply new knowledge to improve classroom practice

Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Principal

The successful candidate will have:

A recognised UK teaching qualification with QTS

Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum / Early Years Foundation Stage

A proven record of securing strong student outcomes
