School Attendant - Bukit Timah
Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2027 to 31 December 2027 with an option to extend the Contract for a further period of 1 Jan 2028 to 31 January 2028.
Working hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 6.30 am to 4.00pm (1 hr lunch break included)
- Fridays: 6.30am to 3.30pm (1 hr lunch break included)
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services:
- In-door cleaning duties of school facilities rooms, such as wiping tables, wiping windows, vacuuming carpets, pantry cleaning, clearing trash bins.
- Assist Operations Manager in general maintenance of school environment and upkeep of school facilities such as reporting building and equipment defects and checking school supplies are well stocked.
- Locking and unlocking of school rooms. Ensure the security of the school including the opening and closing of school gates and rooms; operating the security alarm system; and reporting cases of security concern.
- Provide support for routine operational tasks and ad-hoc tasks such as logistical support for school events including carrying and arranging furniture and equipment; and performing traffic control or ushering duties if required.
- In-door maintenance of house plants.
- Assist the Operations Manager in-coordinating with Term Contractors for the maintenance of school ground, facilities and equipment
- Any adhoc duties tasked by the School Leaders and Operations Managers
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Preferably GCE 'O' Level Certificate or equivalent. Relevant supporting documents such as qualification certificates are required to be submitted, together with the CV.)
- Should have at least 1 year of experience as school attendant
- Having prior school attendant experience working in a school environment would be an advantage
- Ability to use basic Internet sites i.e. WhatsApp, etc.
- Able to communicate and written in English and with one mother tongue language (e.g. Malay, Mandarin, Tamil and etc)
- Physically fit, punctual, good team player and able to work independently and follow instructions
