Key Responsibilities Reading Plans: Study blueprints, sketches, and building specifications to determine dimensions and layout requirements.Measuring and Cutting: Measure, cut, shape, and smooth wood, plastic, drywall, and other materials using hand and power tools.Framing and Construction: Build rough frameworks, including walls, floors, doors, window frames, roof framing, and staircases.Installation (Finish Carpentry): Install interior and exterior fixtures such as cabinets, molding, doors, hardware, and drywall.Maintenance and Repair: Inspect damaged structures, remove defective parts, and repair or replace them.Safety and Compliance: Follow local building codes, safety regulations, and proper tool handling protocols.
