Linux Infrastructure Engineer NIS (m/f/d) KARLSRUHE | FROM NOW ON | FULL TIME

Key Tasks
- Administer and configure Linux systems and virtual machines
- Set up and maintain services such as DNS, DHCP, NGINX, and Keycloak
- Develop small automation solutions and scripts using Python
- Support vulnerability management and technical security activities
- Maintain and support SIEM solutions and contribute to security monitoring
- Collaborate closely with product development, System Engineers, and customer project teams
Key Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience with Linux systems, ideally Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Broad technical understanding of IT infrastructure and system administration
- Experience with networking, virtualization, and common infrastructure services
- Basic to good programming skills in Python and an interest in automation
- Knowledge of IT security, vulnerability management, and SIEM solutions
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
- Good communication skills and a confident approach to working with internal and external stakeholders
- Good command of written and spoken English
