ICT Teacher

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Teaching ICT at all levels. Working independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrating good typing and communication skills. Teaching all relevant areas of the curriculum. Organizing the classroom and learning resources to create a positive learning environment. Creating attractive and educational classroom displays. Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to learners of varying abilities. Motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching methods. Maintaining discipline and ensuring effective classroom management. Preparing, assessing, and marking students’ work to support positive academic development.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, or a related field. At least three (3) years of relevant teaching experience. Good communication, interpersonal, and classroom-management skills. Strong typing and computer skills. Ability to work independently and effectively. Experience as a WAEC examiner will be an added advantage.
