General Manager (Lace/textile)

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Capacity

• Develop and execute production plans and capacity planning to achieve on-time delivery (OTD)
• Oversee daily operations including production, machine performance, material flow, and manpower planning
• Drive performance improvement using Lean / Kaizen and data such as OEE, downtime, and defect analysis

1. Quality & Technology

• Maintain and strengthen Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, OEKO-TEX, compliance standards)
• Resolve key process issues such as:
• Yarn-related issues
• Pattern deviation
• Shrinkage
• Colorfastness
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth scale-up to mass production

1. Customer & Supply Chain

• Act as the key interface with customers/brands on technical specifications and delivery performance
• Handle major customer complaints and lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
• Manage supplier performance (yarn, dyeing, chemicals, finishing, logistics)
• Lead supplier audits, cost negotiations, and supply risk management

1. Finance & Cost Management

• Own plant budgeting, cost control, and margin improvement initiatives
• Manage inventory and cash flow
• Improve material utilization, yield, machine uptime, and labor productivity
• Prepare KPI reports and performance dashboards for management

1. People & Culture

• Develop and lead mid-to-senior management team
• Drive performance management and succession planning
• Promote EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and compliance culture
• Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in: Industrial Engineering Textile Engineering Mechanical Engineering Business Administration Minimum 10 years in manufacturing At least 5 years in plant leadership or multi-department management Experience in lace / warp knit / textile manufacturing
