Accountant (E-commerce)

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

•Record accounting transactions accurately and timely in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

•Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents.

•Reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts and ensure data accuracy.

•Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

•Assist in financial analysis and management reporting.

1. Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

•Monitor customer payments and outstanding balances.

•Prepare AR Aging Reports and follow up on overdue accounts.

•Coordinate with Sales and related departments regarding collection matters.

•Ensure customer accounts are properly reconciled and maintained.

1. Accounts Payable (AP) Management

•Review supplier invoices and supporting documentation.

•Process vendor payments accurately and within agreed timelines.

•Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.

•Maintain proper AP records and documentation.

1. E-Commerce Platform Management

•Coordinate with E-Commerce platforms including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and other online marketplaces regarding payment reconciliation, claims, rebates, and financial transactions.

•Monitor platform receivables, settlement reports, deductions, and payment collections.

•Reconcile sales reports, platform fees, commissions, promotional subsidies, and transaction records.

•Investigate and resolve discrepancies between platform reports and company records.

•Prepare financial reports and analyses related to E-Commerce platform performance.

•Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, E-Commerce Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure smooth financial operations.

•Analyze platform-related costs, commissions, and promotional spending to support profitability and business performance reviews.

1. Tax & Compliance

•Prepare VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and related tax documentation.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience. Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), financial reporting, or month-end closing. Experience in E-Commerce marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop), settlement reconciliation, promotion claim verification, and sales incentive programs is highly preferred.
