A banquet facility in Barrie, Ontario is looking to hire a passionate Chef?s Assistant to join their team.
Job Description

- Take charge and work independently ? learn menus and able to work on your own preparing and sending food out.
- Stand for long periods and work long days
- Assist with day to day back of house operations including the ? organization of the kitchen, daily inventory checks, stocking, and cleaning (dish pit)
- Thursday, Friday and Saturdays you must be available ? with a flexible schedule. The shift will include early mornings along with long days and late nights depending on events and catering orders.

Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of two years? experience in the kitchen
- Passion for great food and culinary expertise
- Hands-on food preparation skills
- Strong Leadership and Team building skills
- Previous experience and Food Handler Certification required.
