Head of Education Sector

Key Responsibilities

Create sector strategy, identify opportunities, and drive growth in deposits, loans, and transactional volumes.

Build relationships with universities, schools, government bodies, and education providers.

Lead client acquisition, retention, and deepen existing relationships.

Collaborate on product development like fee collection, digital payments, and insurance solutions.

Ensure sector lending complies with risk, regulatory, and funding guidelines.

Represent the bank at education forums and build partnerships.

Provide sector expertise, training, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, or related; Master’s preferred.

8-10 years banking experience, 5+ in institutional or sector-specific banking.

Proven large relationship management, structured lending, and sector financing experience.

Core Competencies

Knowledge of education funding models, credit analysis, transaction banking, and digital solutions.

Understanding of public-sector and donor-funded environments.
