Project Manager

Location: Leicester, LE19 Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum, with flexibility for exceptional experience The Opportunity Are you a Project Manager who likes being close to the action rather than sitting behind a desk? This is an opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business delivering bespoke retail displays and customer-facing projects for well-known brands. You'll take ownership from the initial brief through to production, delivery and installation, coordinating people, materials, suppliers and deadlines along the way. It's a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly, so we're looking for someone who is organised and commercially aware, but equally happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved when something needs sorting. What You'll Be Doing Taking full ownership of projects from initial brief/order through to final delivery and installation Managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines simultaneously Coordinating design, purchasing, production, warehouse, logistics and installation teams Planning production schedules and ensuring the right materials, information and resources are available at the right time Working closely with suppliers and resolving issues that could affect delivery Communicating confidently with clients and keeping them updated throughout the project Monitoring project costs, estimates, margins and overall commercial performance Reviewing project requirements, drawings and specifications to ensure everything is understood and delivered correctly Identifying potential problems early and finding practical solutions Supporting the wider team wherever required to keep projects moving Ensuring projects are delivered on time, to the required standard and within agreed commercial parameters What We're Looking For Proven Project Management experience within manufacturing, production, retail display, engineering, construction or a similarly fast-paced environment Experience managing projects from start to finish Strong production planning and scheduling experience Good commercial awareness, including project costs, estimating and margins Excellent organisation skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities A practical, hands-on approach to project management Confident communication skills across clients, suppliers and internal teams A positive, resilient approach when plans change or problems arise Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do Comfortable working at pace and making decisions to keep projects on track A genuine team player with ambition and drive What's On Offer £42,000 - £45,000 salary, with flexibility for exceptional experience Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, 37.5 hours per week Predominantly office-based in Leicester, with some flexibility for hybrid working Opportunity to work on projects for major brands Genuine end-to-end project responsibility A varied role where no two projects are exactly the same Opportunity to have real input into delivery and operational decisions Growing business with ambitious plans Occasional overtime/weekend work may be required around project deadlines Interested?
