METAL SURFACE GRINDING FINISHING WORKER
- Perform surfacegrinding and finishing of metal components to remove burrs, sharp edges, weldmarks and surface irregularities.
- Operate handheldgrinders, angle grinders and other metal finishing tools to smooth and finishmetal surfaces.
- Grind and polishmetal components according to engineering drawings, work instructions and quality requirements.
- Inspect finishedmetal parts to ensure proper surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
- Use appropriategrinding wheels, abrasive discs and finishing tools for different metalcomponents.
- Assist withdeburring, cleaning and preparation of metal parts for further processing,painting or assembly.
- Identify and reportsurface defects or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain grindingtools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow workplacesafety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean andorganised working area and perform other production duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Experience inmetal grinding, deburring or surface finishing is preferred.
- Familiarity with handheld grinders, angle grinders and abrasive tools.
- Able to handle metal components and perform repetitive grinding and finishing work.
- Careful and attentive to surface quality and workmanship.
- Physically fit and able to work in a metalworking factory environment.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
