Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment in Bradford on an initial 6-month contract .
Due to continued growth and an increasing project workload, this is a great time to join the team. There is also the potential for the role to develop into a permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking for both an immediate contract and longer-term prospects.
What the Electrical Design Engineer will do:
Working as part of an established engineering team, you’ll be involved in the electrical design and delivery of a range of engineering projects.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Producing electrical designs, drawings and schematics
- Working from technical specifications and customer requirements
- Supporting projects through design and into manufacture
- Working closely with engineering, production and project teams
- Making design changes and helping resolve technical queries
- Ensuring designs meet relevant standards and project requirements
What we're looking for:
We’re looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment . You’ll be comfortable producing electrical drawings and schematics and have a good understanding of electrical systems and components.
Experience within switchgear, control panels or power distribution would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
