Production Planning Officer
job Summary El-Mayhop Food Industries is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Production Planning Officer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in production planning within the food manufacturing industry , with mandatory experience in Instant Noodles manufacturing . The role requires strong numerical, analytical, and planning skills to optimize production efficiency, material utilization, and inventory levels. Key Responsibilities Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and customer demand.
Prepare production schedules to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
Perform Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and calculate raw material requirements.
Calculate production capacity and optimize machine and labor utilization.
Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Quality departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Monitor production performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Analyze production data, waste, and downtime to improve operational efficiency.
Prepare production reports, KPIs, and planning analysis for management.
Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing shortages and excess stock.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and production performance.
Job Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, preferably within the food industry
Candidates with a background in the snacks industry are preferred
Must reside in Sadat City or nearby areas
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Agricultural Science, or a related field
Strong command of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP/planning systems is a plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines.
