Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.

Develop HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems drawings as required by the project.

Prepare technical calculations, equipment schedules, material take-offs, and quantity estimates.

Review project specifications, contracts, BOQs, and tender documents.

Prepare material and equipment submittals for consultant/client approval.

Review and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) and technical queries.

Coordinate mechanical designs and drawings with architectural, structural, electrical, and other disciplines.

Ensure drawings and technical documents comply with project requirements and applicable standards/codes.

Assist in preparing method statements, inspection requests, and technical documentation.

Review contractor/vendor drawings and technical submissions.

Identify design conflicts and coordinate with site engineers to resolve technical issues.

Support the preparation of variation orders, claims, and additional-work documentation when required.

Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and ensure compliance with approved drawings.

Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, submittals, RFIs, and other technical documents.

Provide technical support to the construction and procurement teams.

Follow project schedules and ensure timely submission of technical deliverables.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Typically 3–7 years of experience in mechanical construction/MEP projects.

Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.

Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, or similar BIM software is an advantage.

Good understanding of relevant international/local mechanical codes and standards.

Ability to read and interpret project specifications, BOQs, and technical drawings.

Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
