PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Ensures that all personal belongings used in the MSA are not brought into the High Security Area (HAS) Guarantees that all items brought inside the farm comply with approved biosecurity standards and follow proper entry procedures Strictly follows and enforces internal biosecurity protocols. Including but not limited to: Animal and personnel traffic control Proper use of footbaths and sanitation stations Prohibition of personal items and accessories inside production areas Actively initiates and supports the consistent implementation and observance of biosecurity measures at all times to prevent disease contamination Flock Management and Production Support Assist the Pullet Production Staff during the receiving of Day-Old Pullets (DOP) Supports and participates in the debeaking of pullets in coordination with Production Staff and under proper supervision Performs regular vaccination of pullets according to the farm vaccination program and under the supervision of Pullet Production Supervisor Assists in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of pullet houses, equipment, and surrounding areas Helps in transfer of flocks from pullet buildings to layer buildings, ensuring minimal stress to the birds and adherence to proper handling procedures Monitors flock condition and immediately reports any abnormalities, health concerns, or operational issues to the supervisor Performs all other tasks and functions as may be required from time to time

Qualifications/Requirements: At least High School Graduate; vocational, agricultural, or animal-related training is an advantage With or without experience in poultry production, vaccination, or farm operations; experience is an advantage but not required Willing to undergo training on biosecurity, vaccination, and flock handling procedures Physically fit and capable of working in a farm environment, including lifting, standing for long periods, and handling poultry Willing to work in biosecure and restricted areas and comply with all farm rules and safety protocols Able to follow instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies Willing to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required by farm operations.
