CIVIL ENGINEER (GENERAL)

Position Title: Supervisor – Engineering (Infrastructure) Department: Project Operations Location: Project Site Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Supervisor – Engineering to oversee and coordinate engineering activities for infrastructure projects. The role will provide technical supervision, monitor project progress, coordinate site teams, and ensure that construction works are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day engineering and construction activities for infrastructure projects. Provide technical guidance and direction to Site Engineers, Field Engineers, Foremen, and other site personnel. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable standards. Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders. Monitor project progress and ensure engineering activities are completed according to the approved schedule. Conduct regular site inspections and identify technical issues, discrepancies, and potential delays. Provide appropriate technical recommendations and solutions to site-related engineering concerns. Review quantities, work accomplishments, material requirements, and manpower deployment. Coordinate with QA/QC and Safety teams to ensure compliance with project quality and safety requirements. Review and monitor shop drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, and other engineering documents. Monitor the productivity and performance of engineering personnel and subcontractors. Assist in resolving technical issues and coordinating design changes or revisions. Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly engineering and progress reports. Participate in project coordination, technical, and progress meetings. Monitor project documentation, including as-built drawings, inspection records, and other close-out requirements. Ensure proper coordination among civil, structural, architectural, and other disciplines as applicable. Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field. Licensed Civil Engineer is highly preferred. At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure construction, with supervisory experience. Experience in r oads, bridges, drainage systems, utilities, earthworks, concrete structures, or other infrastructure projects is an advantage. Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles, and site operations. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Knowledge of project scheduling, quantity monitoring, and construction documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage. Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under pressure. Willing to be assigned to infrastructure project sites and work in different locations. Preferred Skills
