Azure Cloud Engineering

  • Design, build, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement scalable and secure Azure services.
  • Evaluate and integrate new Azure services in line with the cloud strategy.
  • Translate architectural decisions into practical technical implementations.

Cloud Governance, Security & Compliance

  • Design and maintain Azure cloud blueprints.
  • Apply governance, security, and compliance principles.
  • Implement best practices for scalability, high availability, and cost optimization.
  • Support reliable and compliant cloud platform operations.

DevOps & Automation

  • Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Support DevOps practices across cloud and software delivery teams.
  • Improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.

Troubleshooting & Documentation

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Document architecture, standards, and technical guidelines.
  • Actively follow Azure technology evolutions and recommend improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.

Required Skills & ExpertiseMust Have

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer.
  • Strong experience with Azure infrastructure and services.
  • Experience designing and maintaining Azure cloud blueprints including governance, security, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Practical experience automating infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Azure API Management.
  • Experience with PAI / Platform-as-Infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience implementing best practices for scalability, high availability, and cost optimization.
  • Willingness to work minimum 2 days per week onsite in Brugge.
  • Fluent Dutch and English communication skills.
