Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Projects Control Engineer to join our Engineering and Project Management Team. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling project performance throughout all project phases, ensuring successful delivery within the approved time, budget, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project planning, cost control, progress monitoring, and reporting, with the ability to analyze project performance, identify risks, and provide effective corrective actions. The role requires close coordination with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient project execution and achievement of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and maintain project master schedules using Primavera P6.

Prepare project baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource-loaded schedules.

Monitor project progress and compare planned versus actual performance.

Analyze schedule deviations and recommend corrective and recovery plans.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and KPI reports.

Monitor project costs and support cost control activities by analyzing cost and schedule variances.

Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis, including SPI, CPI, and project performance forecasting.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Technical Office, Site Engineers, Procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project plans.

Identify project risks related to schedule and cost, and support the development of mitigation plans.

Review contractors' and subcontractors' schedules and progress reports.

Support claims analysis, extension of time (EOT) assessments, and variation impact evaluations when required.

Ensure compliance with company procedures, contract requirements, and project control standards.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline).

7–10 years of proven experience in Project Controls, Planning, and Scheduling within construction or MEP projects.

Strong experience using Primavera P6 (mandatory).

Solid knowledge of Project Planning, Cost Control, Earned Value Management (EVM), and project reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Microsoft Office, and Power BI is an advantage.

Familiarity with construction contracts, project management methodologies, and project control best practices.

PMP or PMI-SP certification is considered an added advantage.

Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
