*Dr. Vetamin Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Hospital* is looking for *experienced Emergency Veterinarians* interested in locum/relief shifts at our busy, state-of-the-art 24/7 hospital in Ottawa.

*No long-term commitment required. Pick up occasional shifts or establish a regular locum schedule with us.*

We are specifically looking for veterinarians who are comfortable *independently managing emergency and hospitalized patients*, including triage, stabilization, emergency diagnostics, treatment planning, and ICU case management.

*What you'll have available:*

• Experienced VT/VA support
• Full in-house IDEXX laboratory
• Digital radiography
• Advanced ultrasound & point-of-care ultrasound
• Oxygen ICU
• On-site canine & feline blood products and plasma products
• Fully equipped surgical suites
• Endoscopy
• Ventilators and advanced anesthesia capabilities
• Diverse emergency and critical-care caseload

*Flexible scheduling* Day, evening and overnight shifts may be available. Pick the shifts that work for your schedule.

Veterinarians from *outside Ottawa are welcome.*

*Requirements:* ? Licensed/eligible to practise veterinary medicine in Ontario ? Previous emergency/critical-care experience ? Able to independently manage an ER caseload ? Strong clinical judgment and emergency stabilization skills

This position is *not intended as an entry-level or new-graduate mentorship position.*
