Education and School Safeguarding Volunteer

Responsibilities:

Support teaching, learning, and educational activities. Encourage children's participation, confidence, and creativity. Identify and promptly report safeguarding concerns in line with Foundational policies.  Assist with community outreach and education programs. Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality when working with children. Work collaboratively with staff, teachers, parents, and other volunteers. Report writing and research skills.

Requirements:

Have at least an HND or be currently enrolled in a tertiary institution Ability to work with a team. Willingness to learn. Ability to work at least 3 days a week between 9.30 am to 3.00 pm. Be passionate and committed Be a resident of Lokogoma, Wassa, Burum, Takushara, Apo, Sherete, Garki, Gaduwa, or Galadimawa. Fluent in Hausa or Gbagyi - most preferred Good communication skills. Patience, empathy, reliability, and integrity. Previous experience working with children or in education is an advantage
