Baker

Responsibilities: 

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other baked products. Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to established recipes. Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to ensure product quality. Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment in compliance with food safety standards. Inspect ingredients and finished products to ensure freshness and quality. Manage stock levels and report shortages of baking ingredients and supplies. Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and customer orders. Assist with the packaging and presentation of baked goods.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety regulations. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays when required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
