Cashier

Responsibilities:

Attend to customers at the checkout counter Scan and record items accurately. Receive cash, transfers, and other approved payments. Issue receipts to customers. Balance cash and transaction records at the end of each shift. Assist customers with enquiries and complaints. Keep the checkout area clean and organized. Assist with stocking and arranging shelves when required. Track daily sales and expenses. Assist with stock ordering and supplier-related activities. Report discrepancies or transaction issues to the supervisor/accountant.

Requirements:

A minimum of SSCE is an advantage, with at least 2 years of experience Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred Good numerical and basic calculation skills. Basic computer/POS knowledge. Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Polite, professional, and customer-friendly. Good communication skills. Must reside in Akure.

Remuneration: NGN 100,000 – 120,000 Monthly
