Project Quantity Surveyor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Plan, schedule and manage all aspects of the project.  Coordinate and monitor various functions of project consultants from conception through tender, construction, and completion.  Track project milestones and deliverables.  Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.  Provide direction and support to the project team.  Monitor and track project progress along with resolution of issues faced.  Communicate to stakeholders, project progress, issues for resolution, highlighting risks, and mitigation plans.  Monitor and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project goals/objectives.  Efficiently manage and work closely with clients.  Overall management of consultants and contractors.  Run projects within budget and schedule.  Any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

JOB COMPETENCY (QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE)  Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.  Minimum Tier 2 or 3 qualification as recognized by SISV.  Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)  At least 5 years of relevant experience.  Must be familiar with the contract.  Independent, proactive, resourceful, result-oriented, and with a good eye for details.  Able to work independently.  Good problem-solving and communication skills.  Good interpersonal relationship and leadership skills.  Knowledge of Contract Law or Construction law will be an added advantage
