Job Summary : The Denver Broncos are seeking an exceptionally talented Art Director to execute the visual identity of one of the most iconic brands in sports. This role is responsible for developing compelling creative across brand campaigns, marketing initiatives, social content, fan engagement programs, sponsorship activations and gameday experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong conceptual thinking with elite design craftsmanship and is passionate about creating work that captures the energy of Broncos football and the connection between our team and fans. Working closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional partners, the Art Director will translate creative briefs into impactful visual solutions while helping maintain a high standard of excellence across all touchpoints.

This role is highly collaborative and execution-focused, requiring someone who can move seamlessly from concept development to final production while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced sports environment.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Englewood, Colorado.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Creative Development & Design

Develop innovative visual concepts that support organizational marketing, business and brand objectives

Design and execute creative assets across print, environmental, experiential platforms, digital, and social

Contribute to campaign ideation and creative brainstorming sessions, helping evolve concepts from initial brief through final execution

Produce high-quality creative work that reflects the Denver Broncos brand and elevates fan engagement

Create presentation materials, mockups, style frames and visual storytelling tools that communicate concepts effectively

Brand Stewardship

Ensure all creative work aligns with established Broncos brand standards and visual guidelines

Maintain consistency across marketing campaigns, sponsorship initiatives, ticketing efforts, community programs and organizational communications

Identify opportunities to evolve visual language while preserving brand integrity

Contribute to the development and refinement of creative systems, templates and design standards

Campaign Execution

Lead design execution for seasonal campaigns, tentpole moments, and key organizational initiatives

Develop creative assets for social media, website, email marketing, paid media, out-of-home advertising, in-stadium experiences and retail

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals, audience needs, timelines and deliverables

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional quality

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Prepare final creative files for production across digital and print applications

Partner with internal and external vendors to ensure quality control throughout production

Maintain a strong understanding of evolving design tools, technologies and creative best practices

Stay current on trends in sports, culture, entertainment, design, photography, typography and social storytelling

Team Collaboration

Serve as a trusted creative partner to the Creative Director and broader creative team

Provide constructive design feedback during reviews and collaborative critiques

Foster a positive, solutions-oriented team culture built on curiosity, accountability and creative excellence

Support the development of design team through mentorship and example

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

5+ years of professional design experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, agency, media, or consumer brands

Demonstrated portfolio showcasing conceptual campaigns, visual systems, digital design and brand storytelling

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Experience designing for digital, social, experiential, and print environments

Strong understanding of typography, composition, color, image-making and visual hierarchy

Experience collaborating with photographers, videographers and production partners

Ability to receive feedback, iterate quickly and thrive in a collaborative environment

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Familiarity with Figma and contemporary collaborative design workflows preferred

Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and event support as business needs require

Preferred Skills :

Experience working within professional sports, entertainment, lifestyle, or media brands

Understanding of NFL culture and sports fandom

Experience developing creative for live events and immersive fan experiences

Knowledge of photography direction, retouching, motion graphics and environmental graphics

Curiosity and proficiency with emerging creative technologies and AI-enabled workflows

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $100,000 - $110,000.
